I went out to the town this morning. I had to get my old Liverpool dut out and pull my scarf up over my nose. I looked like a div, but got there and back without being arrested! Am undercover now. Over and out.

I know exactly what you mean. My mothers birthday was on
December 26 and my mother-in-law (who I loved like my own )died on December 24. This makes Christmas a mixture of saddness and joyin our house. Sadness for their passing and Joy in remembering their lives......................

yarm eh? i nearly had a relationship with someone from yarm and i do have a friend down here who comes from there.. never been though. given your antics last night it would seem that you just dont need alcohol to have a good time. ;)

i wrapped presents while i watched your lot and then while i listened to 606 as alan green (who is liverpool through and through whatever he says..) fielded calls for benitez's head. make your minds up scousers, one minute its St Rafa and a religious parade in his honour the next its lets get mouriniho!

congrats on the abstinence and commisirations on the spending woes. I dont have anyone special to buy for this year (unless things develop pretty quickly!) so that should cut my bills this time around. we were always spoiled rotten as kids and my brothers do the same with their kids - not sure its a good thing but i can appreciate the pressure must be enormous.

perhaps you could convert to islam and get around like that? be careful what the kids name their teddies tho....

I do the christmas tree with my sister. every year, we pick a colour theme and just go with it =P it doesn't look half bad, actually.
As for my own room, I put up a bit of black and white tinsel around my room and an ickle christmas tree in the corner which has lights built in =P that's me sorted! :))

vodka by the litre is a bad thing - last time i did that i ended up in hospital having my stomach pumped. i was whisked away from a pub where i was meeting friends to go see motorhead (i was about 20..) and had been drinking cider on top of the spirits ugh.. never again.. still dont touch cider. have you got a number for martha tho.. she sounds fun ;)

corkporn! brilliant! parcark was always mine, spent an hour with my neice (3) yesterday. cos i wanted to find out the football scores i went online - she got interested so we found barney the dinosaur's webpage.. played a stupid game for five mins ('again' she cries.. 'no' says evil uncle and she agreed and we did soemthing else.. later i tried to get her to throw her sweet wrapper away.. 'no!' she quipped.. we tossed a coin for it, she lost and threw away the wrapper. my brother looked on -- beginner's luck im sure he was thinking. kids? they're a doddle! ;)
